They must have a better process to trust. Probably actually have a ST coach.
Brady Quinn said the same thing - that Baylor should have run out the clock - immediately after the game. I figured there was probably something official somewhere that said that isn't allowed by the defense. Just like there are rules about fake injuries and intentionally taking penalties to stop the clock. At the end of the day, the rulebook says if the refs feel a team is doing something unfair then they can call a penalty even if it's not explicitly defined in the rulebook.Good research! Thanks for providing that, picture and all.
TCU was without their all big 12 running back and WR in the 2nd half. Not impressed with TCU offense or defense. They are overrated and will likely lose the CCG if they play KSU.

In ISU's case, I totally see us falling into that Ruling VIII case. Plenty of time left but no timeouts, so we screw around debating whether to kick or go, then when we send in the FG unit late we do have to wait for the other team to substitute.
And I'd love to see Gundy get called for late/slow defensive substitutions one of these days. Of course we do ourselves no favors by waiting to sub until there are 10 seconds on the play clock...
ISU/Big XII wants tcu in the playoffs.TCU is not losing to us at home. Hope I’m wrong, kind of, but we don’t have it this year. If it were in Ames, I’d give us a chance.
Does ISU bring back their own version of the 'Big Johnson' shirts for NIL?
