Way up there
Hell, Tyreek Hill is the darling of the NFL right now and he tried to kill his pregnant girlfriend and unborn child when he was at Okie State. He just spent a year West Alabama and everything was forgotten. He dropped to the 5th round and lost a lot of money though.f

Turpin will lose some draft stock, but I doubt he will do anything worse than Hill. He'll lose some money on his rookie deal but if he's good enough, he'll get a decent second deal.

Hill had his charges dismissed and expunged from his record after fulfilling his probation requirements. He is now engaged to the woman he attacked. What a joke.

If true, that Turpin kid just screwed himself for the draft too. He's a legit NFL talent but I think in this day and age, teams want nothing to do with domestic violence. In the grand scheme of things, that's not the most important factor and didn't mean it that way, just posting about the sports side of it. I hope the girl is ok and this kid gets some help to change his life.
You must not follow the Chiefs.

Dating back to the ISU game?

I don't have it on DVR but I'm sure I remember the hit that did it.

Thought at the time that he could be hurt.

Really sucked when ISU just couldn't hang on the beat these guys. A health Montgomery would have been enough to win that game, even without Purdy at QB. ISU would be sitting a lot prettier at 4-2, but there is nothing they can do now but keep winning games.

Have they been so scarred that even Ku will beat them? At the beginning of the season, I thought the Frogs were overrated given all their loses. But Patterson carries a lot of weight, so to speak.

He can play so he will be OK. He probably cost some bucks but he can play so it's all good.

Even if he didn't law enforcement didn't know where to find him for the last 3+ months? It isn't like he is on TV with his location clearly posted pretty much every Saturday.

This isn't going to sit well with some folks and isn't meant to send this to the cave.

There are a variety of ways a law enforcement agency can issue a warrant. Just having a warrant doesn't necessarily equate to being arrested wherever you are.

Basically the agency that issues a warrant has the option of flagging it so that if the suspect is found by any department in the US they are taken into custody for the outstanding warrant. If they issue the warrant like that the agency that put out the warrant is responsible for transporting and paying for the transport of the individual from wherever the heck they were arrested back to face the charges.

Many departments can't afford to pay to do that or to send an officer across the country to pick someone up. The result is they habe a warrant out for their arrest and the issuing agency may even know where they are, but cost prevents them from being arrested.

Not saying that's what happened here, but it wouldn't surprise me either.
