The no touchdown streak was just our pathetic local media trying to stir up talking points for the big game. They always forget to mention that during the streak ISU won a game. However having the streak end doesn't make me feel any better, the Hawks could have beat us by 50 or 60 if Kirk wouldn't called off the dogs.

Have you honestly never heard that phrasing before? They use it on ESPN everyday. "If this team can take 2 of 3, they should be in good shape."

Whatever....7 pts is 7 pts. We give you credit for beating the snot out of our team so quit being such a poor winner and acting like the TD streak didn't end because you had some backups in at the end.

Considering how many golden opp's ISU had to score a touchdown (and possibly even win) in the 17-5 game in '08, i'd say it balances out.
