Texas at KSU...

So jealous of what K State has. Their talent level is equal to ours, but they are so damned disciplined and they execute over and over and over again. They are also not afraid of the logo on the other helmet. Friggen Vampire is 6-1 all time at home against Texas.

Can't believe our guys got pushed around as badly as they did by this Texas front. Next week will be tough, but talent wise there is no reason we can't compete with K State. Question will be how smart and disciplined our guys are.

I CAN foresee CMC becoming the next Snyder. Family, values, character, discipline, etc... If that were to happen, be STILL my beating heart!

This is Charlie Strong's last game at Texas most likely

Disagree, this road loss to a good team won't get him canned. If they lose this, at home to Baylor, and then in Lubbock after that, then I could see him fired with 3 games to go.

Also somebody needs to comment on how weird it is to wish a football coach would die. Maybe hope instead that he would retire and enjoy his remaining years on a Caribbean island @SpokaneCY

I think that's the ironey of the joke... Assuming that the vampire is the kind of coach that is there until he dies.

No dude - I honestly wish one of the best football coaches in the history of college football who has built one of the best programs in college football through discipline, character, talent, development and coaching to die. o_O

While it's obvious (apparently) that Strong is soon to be out at Texas, Snyder's team is doing what every Snyder team has always done - make huge strides throughout the season. No offense Bill - but DIE ALREADY!
He has not worn out his 10 sets of nike 410s.

My hope, my belief: The consistency, the self-confidence in themselves, is what our guys lack (plus athletic deficits here and there). It took Snyder a few years to train his guys to overcome their liabilities, correct?

Campbell's first year at iSu is not unlike Snyder's first year at kSu, is it? Snyder is special, he overcame serious program deficits to succeed. We'll see if Campbell can do the same. In his first year, it's not yet proven that CMC and staff cannot do it.

I still think ISU has a pretty good shot against KSU if they attack their marginal secondary from the opening kickoff. OU couldn't run on them at all, but had guys running 15-20 yards open down field. Just need to protect for more than 3 seconds.

Ball Control. Won in spite committing 3 turnovers. Don't see us winning again.

That shine on Herman to Austin or Baton Rogue must be way off after going from "likely going to take Houston to the playoff if they can get past Louisville" to losing to Navy and SMU. I bold those to indicate how far they seem to be falling now. Going to be a real thin class of coaches to grab for LSU and Texas and these other programs this year.

Makes me glad we got Campbell when we did. The supply was much higher and the demand much lower for up-and-comers like him last year.
