Dude came to Iowa State coming off a 2 win season. Helped get us to the sweet 16 and turn the program around. He could have easily gone to a school that had a better season the year before and an established coach. He didn’t. He came to Iowa State and believed. Didn’t have his best game yesterday. However, he will be one of the players that goes down as the player who helped turn this thing around. I appreciate that. Great leader.

Gabe was fun to watch. A lot of highs and lows, but it is what it is. Two NCAA's and a Sweet 16. Nice job Gabe.

One of the more interesting ISU players I've watched in terms of streakiness, but when he was good we were tough to beat. Great teammate that was a huge part of the culture turnaround, and his game against Wisconsin to get us to the sweet 16 will always be remembered.

I ragged on him for 95% of the season last year, but he was easily my favorite this year. A dog and cleaned up his game this year. Wisconsin performance was all time.

He had some amazing games and always played tough on defense. Was really key in helping bring this program up from the dumps. I think we're going to miss his leadership and work ethic a lot next year. Hopefully it has rubbed off on Tamin and Jeremiah

If he doesn’t get a shot overseas, I’d love to see him on the bench next year as a GA. He’s a class act for sure and represents ISU well.
He will play overseas, he plays D and can occasionally get hot shooting. Did he say he wanted to coach?

Felt like he was here longer than 2 years. Even though he was a high highs and low lows guy offensively for most of those 2 years, he personified this new era of TJ ball, and took a chance on us when we had nothing but a vision to sell him. He’ll leave as one of my favorite Cyclones of the past 10 years

I mean he did transfer from a juco and those kids always seem like they have been here longer because they play right away
