Nope, Olive Garden lays claim to that title. That isn't saying a whole lot. Applebees is possibly the most disgusting chain food out there.
Campustown really isn't meant for people over 30, unless they enjoy drinking and ****** food. Not trying to be a **** about it. Yall have old main and like **** on duff.
Hooters will be out of business soon thanks to Twin Peaks. I think they're opening one in Ankeny.
Definitely disagree here. The rent/purchase price to own that make it impossible to run a bar out of. The price and lack of amenities (parking, easy access, etc.) make it an awful place to make money. I'm not sure there's a practical usage of that space in it's current condition because, as has been noted already, the main clientele in the area are college students. The best option is probably to re-do the restaurant portion and make it into more apartments. You at least have a chance to recoup that investment.Time for Es Tas to make another move. Whatever goes there needs to cater to the demographics needs, college students. A decent bar could do well up there in the long run.
They need to fix the parking. Parking at the church works ok at best. It's main problem was parking and the students destroying the elevators and everything you saw on the way up.
Been to the one on Marshalltown. Nice decor; overpriced mediocre food.
Not yet I dont think.Any of you Ames residents know if they put anything new in there?
Restaurant lease not renewed a month ago. Building now for sale.

Sounds like a good place for Dangerous Curves.
Service at Legends in Mtown is pretty bad too I hear.
Have you ever lived there? much less been there....I've been to a whole lot worse in this fair state....In their defense, they do have to work in Marshalltown.
Google that and report back, it is actually sfw
Their popping up all over.
