Campustown really isn't meant for people over 30, unless they enjoy drinking and ****** food. Not trying to be a **** about it. Yall have old main and like **** on duff.

It could be both though. Still a party area (i dont think itd be a good idea to shoehorn shops and such in there that wont do well), but some more options. If there was a hotel on welch somewhere i'd try to stay there just about every time i wanted to stay overnight.

Time for Es Tas to make another move. Whatever goes there needs to cater to the demographics needs, college students. A decent bar could do well up there in the long run.
Definitely disagree here. The rent/purchase price to own that make it impossible to run a bar out of. The price and lack of amenities (parking, easy access, etc.) make it an awful place to make money. I'm not sure there's a practical usage of that space in it's current condition because, as has been noted already, the main clientele in the area are college students. The best option is probably to re-do the restaurant portion and make it into more apartments. You at least have a chance to recoup that investment.

They need to fix the parking. Parking at the church works ok at best. It's main problem was parking and the students destroying the elevators and everything you saw on the way up.

I've been there several times and enjoyed the food, view, and atmosphere inside the restaurant. The parking, downstairs lobby, elevator, and upstairs lobby were absolutely horrible. It felt more like going to a dining room in a low-rent dormitory.

Had a great time when Curtis Taylor was our server. It was shortly after he graduated. He was very cool and interacted with us quite a bit about the team and what he was doing.

It is hard to imagine any other restaurant going in there. I think Legends was in there when the building opened and before it turned into a pit.

From the times I've been there, my impressions were great view, disgusting entry, bad food, good appetizers, bad service. A lot of those they could have changed and didn't.

I didn't mind Legends. It was better than going to Outback in Ankeny or Applebees like my roomate always wanted to do. It wasn't good by any means but it was palatable.

I have no idea what you put in there that works. It just isn't good for anything.

Google that and report back, it is actually sfw

Their popping up all over.

Considering the first sentence, did you mean "They're popping out all over"?

That isn't saying a whole lot. Applebees is possibly the most disgusting chain food out there.

So, it's kind of like Applebee's is the Nickelback of casual dining establishments?
