Lack of success is always the refs fault. It's the cyclone way.
Bold first post. Not sure I would have gone that route.

Unreal.
No, what is unreal is you didn't pay attention to what I said.
I have not sided one way or the other as to whether we got hosed on that call. I would say virtually every other team would have gotten the benefit of the doubt on that play when it took them 5 minutes on super-slow motion to find one frame that might show the ball touching the ground - but because we're ISU we didn't get that benefit of the doubt. But because they found that frame, I'm not going to argue it.
What I'm calling bull**** on is anyone who is trying to say that they were convinced that was an incomplete pass going into the replay or based on any of the camera angles they showed prior to showing that one frame they spent more time finding than most doctorate candidates use researching their theses. But if you want to pretend that going into that replay you thought that was an incomplete pass, either you are a bull****ter or you want to pretend you weren't adjusting your nut cup.
My other point is if you have to spend that much time (5+ minutes) going to that great of lengths (finding one singular frame in super-slow motion) to attempt to overturn a play, then that is the definition of inconclusive and the play should stand.
In the future they absolutely should put time limits on how long a play can be reviewed similar to what they do in the NFL.
And this is where you are wrong.
Going into the replay...I absolutely thought it was a TD.
After replay 1...still definitely a TD.
After replay 2...still definitely a TD.
After replay 3...Oh ****, it's not a TD.
And you're either a bull****ter or a nut-cup adjuster because nobody thought that.
So now it's a conspiracy theory to keep us from winning. Gotcha. They did such a good job of making us lose that we had the ball TWICE with a chance to take a late lead. What did we do with those opportunities: nothing. So in this game we are going to play several times where you have advantages over me, if I have a chance to win the game late I like my chances because I won't be focused on what didn't go my way earlier-I'm going to be focused on doing what j have to for the win. Again-life will hit with adversity. How does one respond when it hits usually determines a winner from a loser.
Calling ryens play a td would have been a tie game anyways and nothing was guaranteed we'd win in overtime.
Long thread and I've got better things to do.You obviously haven't read all of my posts.
Haha...yup. You obviously know exactly what went on in my living room.
It's not even that hard to see. Are you guys not even looking at the replay? He cradles it in his right arm. The ball hits the ground. It slides up his right arm. He secures it with his left hand.
I think most of us are saying that from the replays it looks like the ball stays on top of his right arm when he hits the ground and then moves up to his left hand. And 95% of us are saying that you have to be wanting to find a way to overturn the call in order to come to your conclusion which is nowhere near what the role of an instant replay official should be.
If this is the case, why are we rooting for a b12 team to make the playoff? We were not supposed to win that game. Period. The B12 did not want to ruin Oklahoma State's undefeated season. Our program is not to the point where we get those calls.
Unreal.

Bang up job by the officials today.
Spotting the ball consistently short, making indisputable disputable, having a hard time staying on their feet (I'm looking at you official "U"), and holding their flags as much as the OSU o-line was holding.
The Big 12 Conference commends your work ethic. Your Christmas bonus is in the mail.
