Bingo. Just because Nebraska and Missouri are losing a lot of players doesn't mean they will not be good. I'm sure I'll get bashed for this, but I'm guessing a lot of 2nd stringers at those schools would be starting at ISU. They have both recruited well the last few years and have some talent stock piled (not to the level of Texas and OU obviously).
I think the original post brought up an excellent point. It is very difficult for a program trying to be on the rise to face Texas, OU, and T Tech for 2 consecutive years. Add Missouri and Nebraska to the mix and you are looking at 5 almost certain loses. Throw in Kansas and Iowa and you have two more very challenging games. They could play well all season and still have 7 losses.
