And the Chicago Cubs have won 2 World Series Championships since the last time ISU beat the Gophers.

As a fellow Sinfonian, I cant believe I didnt know this already!

Plus, if you go to the field museum in Chicago, you can see the Tsavo lions. I remember seeing them, thinking that they were the littlest things, but they were made into rugs by Patterson, and the taxidermist at the Field had to reconstruct them, and they had to be reduced in size a little bit.

Wow I haven't seen The Ghost and the Darkness in a very long time (GREAT movie by the way)

I had no idea it was based on true events

Plus, it sucks that all of those games were in Minny, except for one in 89. I would think that if it were in Ames for 10 of those, the record might be different.

Well, Remington (Douglas' character) wasn't there, and they think that the actual number of deaths was less now, because modern researchers have found the den, it is still an amazing story, one of my favorites. Plus I was 16 and the movie was badass.

I was 10 and this and The Island of Dr. Moreau made me think Kilmer was such a badass.

I'm sure if I went back and watched them now...his acting would be terrible.

yeah, a colleague of mine and I had a gig the other night, he is a brother from out east, it was a great moment to give the grip when you haven't in a year or two.
