Completely agree, I think that's why my views are so different than everyone else's, I wasn't really there for the McDermott years (since we were so bad that I couldn't have cared less about the basketball team) and I sure as hell don't remember the Fizer or Hoiberg years.
Here's my advice. Don't be critical just to be a hard ***. If you can't remember to a certain point, use evidence and statistics to gain context and perspective. The younger you are the less you can rely on that stuff and the more too need use facts and statistics vs articles based only on your opinions and experiences
Go find writers and look at their style. Look at Travis Hines or Brent Blum for a local guy. I'm not sure who is the best nationally.
