I really don't see Texas in the ACC. It's Pac or SEC. The ACC is not a very prestigious football conference; no way Texas would settle for that. They would easily go independent over ACC.

Iowa State is among one of the less attractive BCS schools. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge that is kidding themselves. Not because of the school, but because of location, television, and football.
I agree with that, but I don't think we are in the bottom 5, or even bottom 10 for that matter. I would say that we are more attractive than 25% of teams out there, if you just look at the school and AD, not current conference affiliation.
If Larry Scott was our commissioner, I guarantee you the Big 12 would be clearly the 3rd most stable and strong conference behind the Big 10 and SEC.
If anyone has followed TTRaider on TigerBoard, he has a source called Mondo. He has predicted KU/TT/OU/OSU to Pac-10 and MU/A&M to SEC. That is not big news, but he did this a couple of weeks ago and someone posted a summary of his posts and he has been mostly on the money so far.
If you include the article about ND/UT to the Big Ten with these predictions, then it starts to make sense. Here is what I posted on TigerBoard. (I am MizzouClone on TigerBoard)

Well if that happens, I guess ISU/K-State/Baylor to the Big East?
At this point I hope OU leaves. I know it will kill the b12 but they have let this go too far to turn back. Like a&m. The fans are ready for it so, even if they were to stay, the fans will clamor for the pac12, just like aggie fan did all year for sec. I don't see any way they can successfully stay in b12 anymore. They are as good as gone, even if they don't leave this year.
