This is correct. I travel for work and pull in just over $200/year. That takes several gas fills per week on a truck.It would be great for someone that travels for work and uses a company fleet card though.

The only way I can see the way these apps make money are by collecting data and selling it. Probably not a huge deal for most. But it could be collecting GPS data (speed, etc) and selling it back to your insurance company or other data brokers that sell it to your insurance company.Is there a downside to the upside app?
