We’ll look for you!!Walking around Beal street pantless. It's quite liberating.
Wiseacre Brewing
Memphis Made Brewing (they have a bar in the airport too)
Central BBQ
The Cooper-Young area is a hip, up and coming area with a lot going on. It’s a younger crowd out there. Shopping. Nice restaurants.
Memphis has some fun spots. Also really harrowing to visit the Civil Rights museum. Do it if you have time.
Be careful and use common sense. It’s fun but it’s also the type of town where nice turns to not nice pretty quickly. Stay away from Orange Mound. Don’t leave valuables in your car, even at the hotel. It’s not a hell hole, but stick to the main drag.
I’m there a lot for work.

I’m not a “City = bad” type of guy, but Memphis has some of the most unique blends of haves and have nots I have ever seen. The shadow of segregation still lingers heavily over the place. When we were driving from the Airbnb to the stadium, you would pass through a stop light and literally go from palatial quasi-mansions to houses with tarps in place of the roof in hundreds of feet.
I'd never seen as quick of a transition from opulence to squalor.
