When the season started, what did you never think you would see now?
Mine is that both KState and Minnesota are Top25 ranked teams. Goodness.

KU just gets the wins when they need them while everyone else screws up in the crucial moments.

I just don't think their style lends itself to that kind of consistency. When it works, they can do what they did tonight. When they run into a team that handles the ball really well, stays aggressive and matches their toughness, they struggle.

For state of Iowa ones: I never thought UNI would be 5-10. I also never thought Drake would start 0-7 vs DI teams, have their coach step down, and then start 2-2 in the MVC.

As others have said, I didn't foresee Baylor rising to No. 1 at any point this season.

Other un-anticipated developments:
* UConn starting 6-9
* In a January AP top 25, there would be four Big East teams ranked above ANY Big Ten team.
* In near-mid-January, Minnesota and Kansas State would be ranked, but Michigan State would have zero votes.
