Ames is a Cyclone town obviously, Des Moines and the rest of the metro - insert your own interpretation of metro - is probably split, ISU has the NW corner of the state, Iowa has everything East of say...Newton.

I would imagine the SW corner is a mix of Kansas, Mizzou, and Nebraska fans.

Well it's not exactly scientific, given that I've seen both "Hayden Fry" and "Kirk Ferentz" declare themselves ISU fans in Iowa City. :skeptical:

I just realized this is a very poor way of figuring out the demographics of Iowa/Iowa State fans in this state - it implies that Hawkeye fans know how to read and/or use the computer...
