Ok, so it looks like the first domino is about to fall (Nebby) and this will likely cause the demise of the B12.
The best case scenario for ISU would be for the B10 to invite NU, MU and ISU (for geography's sake if nothing else) from the B12, ND accepts and then get one more school from the East to join. Maybe Pitt?
That would bring the B10 to 16. Getting NU and ND would balance out ISU, Mizzou, Pitt and certainly wouldn't water the conference down as much as going with Rutgers, Uconn, etc.
You still have room for 4 more teams down the road if the Super-Super conferences are needed when the regular old Super Conference just isn't good enough.
I would say the odds of ISU getting a B10 nod are somewhere around 5-10%, but I can dream at least.
