Full time head coach? They've had other head coaches in their past who only worked part-time?
I don't know if it's still this way but it used to be that the head coach would be also be listed as a Professor of Physical Education. And it used to be that players would get one hour of PE credit towards graduation. Here's a picture from the inside of a book that Woody Hayes wrote. And maybe farther back in time they actually did have to teach classes.

Agree. I think Deion ends up being a flop in Boulder.
I think he will have some success, but blatantly saying he is running a free agent program is not going to go over well with the academics who have traditionally had a large say at CU.

He will be too flamboyant and cause outrage. NCAA will be keeping eye on him like a hawk.

I’m convinced this bozo will get fired and Colorado winds up on probation.

Wouldn't publicly naming your starting QB, who currently is at another school prior to the portal opening up, constitute a recruiting violation? Or is the NCAA deciding not to care about that anymore? I honestly don't know what the rules are anymore.

You would think that would be the case, but in the free agency world we live in, I’m afraid plenty of tampering and collusion is rampant.
