We're ranked 23rd nationally in the country so this shouldn't be too big of an issue. I agree that it sucks that it's not full but it is what it is. I like the idea of having a GA section mixed with students in that spot. Not get an exact seat number, just sit where ever you'd like. Sell maybe 100-200 tickets and it won't be full, but close enough.

We're ranked 23rd? Do you mean in attendance or what?

We should make ALL the season ticket holders claim their tickets beforehand. What a crime that there are excellent parquet seats being lert open.

The seats are purchased. Whatever someone wants to do with them is their business.

I think there were 2500 student seats, which sold out.

The solution is to sell 3000 student season tickets and let them stuff themselves into 2500 seats...in the unlikely event that they all show up.

I like this. It would be cramped but it would force students to stand almost constantly and would likely give 500 more students at big games which would be awesome. Could make Hilton even louder.

Yeah, it wasn't just students, there were a whole lot of empty seats behind the bench as well.

Overselling probably isn't the answer, but making it as easy as possible to give your seat to somebody else is. When I was a student I never got season tickets to anything other than the "Olympic Sports Pass". But I still went to a whole lot of games, because there was always somebody who couldn't make it that would give up their ticket for free or a nominal sum.

This again, really? Make it easier for students to resell tickets. We will always have a gap when its hard to resell and students pack to the front (just like we did when students had both balcony sections)
This is probably the most important thing. With the Cyclone Alley Shirts needed to sit down low, the tickets are wasted instead of being transferred to someone who would want to go to the game. Most students don't mind buying a ticket, but finding a shirt is almost impossible and is a huge pain.

A side business could be Rent a Shirt?

Guessing it'd be a fire code violation.
