I really REALLY hate to say this, but Paul Rhoads is one of the coaches voting. While I would like to believe that he has the integrity to not vote for himself solo, it's certainly a possibility.

I think there is some kind of minimum amount of votes required to show up there isn't there?

EDIT just saw we got 2 votes. Could be CPR and Ferentz. Who knows.

Georgia got votes? They are 0-2. If that's not a sign the polls mean absolutely nothing, I don't know what is...

Here's where the Big 12 sits in the latest polls. Oklahoma topped the media poll for the 100th time on Sunday, the most of any team in college football history.

I guess that's pretty good, no?

Anywho, here's where the Big 12 sits heading into Week 3.

USA Today (coaches)

1. Oklahoma (44 of 59 first-place votes)
7. Oklahoma State
9. Texas A&M
21. Texas
24. Baylor

Baylor was new to this week's poll after sitting as the first team out last week. Missouri dropped out of the poll after its loss at Arizona State.

Other Big 12 teams receiving votes:

32. Missouri
40. Iowa State

How is Texas ranked? They looked terrible yesterday and have a 3 way qb race going. They are a .500 team at best.

ISU got two points. It means two people voted them 25th or one person voted them 24th.

I don't get why CPR voting for ISU would mean he doesn't have integrity. He knows our team better than anybody. If he thinks we are a good enough team for the top 25 isn't he supposed to vote us in it?

You want to bet one of those votes is from Dan McCarney?

You think Gene Chizik could have voted for ISU?

Like it or not, but those are the two most recent coaches at ISU and both of them are voting this year and we got two votes.
