Way up there
Chizik is doin it at Auburn too....

How would you feel if you were a 4* qb waiting in the wings, waited your turn to start, next years your senior year and you just got recruited over....that JUCO was promised playin time i will guarantee you!!!!

Or how bout last years qb recruit....he also was a 4* recruit that came in and redshirted so he had 4 left at worst three to start....now with this kid, at best he will have 2 years left.....

Thats how you push kids away like say Phillip Bates!!!!!

Or weed out guys who can't hack it....nothin wrong with some competition.

Is Bates back in Ames? Just seen him post today on AA's status so I clicked on his name and he has Iowa State 11' as his network. Just curious because he would fit into this new offense if he had any eligibility left.

Bates is not back in Ames unless he is visiting his friends. AA and him were great friends. He has been back several times over the last year or so.

this kid is a thug and is known for sticky fingers-should fit chizzledick's program very well.

He is a good recruiter.

I beg to disagree. He was/is a good recruiter at places like Texas and Auburn, where you can fall off a truck and onto a pile of guys clamoring to get into your university to play for you. When the going gets a little tougher, like at ISU, he can't recruit a lick. Chizik's classes at ISU were some of the lowest ranked we've ever had since before Mac. It used to drive me crazy when people swooned over Chizik's classes because they were not that good.

He should be doing that! I don't know how you could think any different and be successful at that level. It is a coaches job to bring in the best talent possible. It is the players job to win the playing time. If a guy leaves because he can't hack it, isn't the program better off with the new player?
