Sometimes it really is just about luck in this game. The prayer Connor threw up prior to Sandforts game tying one... like I said, it's just dumb luck with this Iowa team
This team could easily be about 13-17. Like 1 possession away in many wins. Typically we're on other end with Fran it seems

I'm sure the W today is great but at what point are Iowa fans going to contact the AD about Fran's behavior?
I mean, they did when Kirk wasn't winning enough games, so we know they're capable of calls, email, and letters.
I'm 100% serious in thinking that he'll snap sometime and get physical.

Didn’t matter when Juwan Howard did it, hated that Michigan kept him around but if you’re winning/recruiting nothing is going to happen. I mean just look at bama

Yeah but the thing is Fran is marginally better than Alford at Iowa, and he got ran and the reason most often given is that he was a doosh.

Hate to say it, but if I’m an Iowa player the end of that game is giving me a huge jolt of energy to carry through the end of this season. I’ll bet they win in Bloomington.

Don't think Indiana saw that and has just as much energy for payback that the same thing happened to them on that court? Trayce Jackson Davis's final home game too I believe. Iowa still can't stop anyone on defense.

When Chris Hassel is calling you out as the whiniest bunch of players and coaches in the NCAA, you might have a problem.
Iowa fans were saying that when it looked like they were going to lose. They took it all back after the miracle comeback I’m sure.

Never. "The W is all that matters" is what my friends are saying. They literally don't care how terrible Fran makes them look.

Fran wanted to get tossed, it was obvious. Even he knew the game was all but over... he had given up. But then a miracle happened.

Whoa, was the crowd as bad as this photo makes it look?

Gotta say, it’s realllly hard to believe Mike Hlas’ quote in today‘s Gazette that “most of the sellout crowd” saw the shot go in at the end of regulation when you compare that to these bits of photographic evidence.

This! Fran essentially quit on his team again but Iowa caught lightning in a bottle from three. Fran deserves ZERO credit for the win.
