I hate that sometimes we are so close and we cant just get over the hump, so many close loses these last two years, so Many/

Better then getting blown out I guess.

Hard to feel proud of this game considering ISU beat themselves. Sure, they fought hard to overcome both their own mistakes and the horrendous officiating, but WSU did just barely enough while ISU shot themselves in the foot over and over and over and over again.

Honestly I wasn't impressed with Washington State. They had no running game. Took no shots downfield. Their d game up a bunch of big plays. We beat ourselves with the turnovers and false starts.

Give our D credit. They can make a lot of teams look bad.

Overall though, I think if you’re a neutral observer, you probably come away thinking the better team lost.

Despite a lot of mistakes, I thought both units played at a high level.

We repeatedly punched ourselves and the refs threw a few in for good measure.

I know it does not matter, NO WAY did WSU beat us, we beat ourselves.

I think Montgomery is way more ready for the NFL than Buttler. You give David a strong o'line, hell who knows? Butler is so talented, but still needs another year to polish everything up.

We will be fine, ISU played the #13 ranked team, we are #24 and lost by 2 points, . Look at the roster, we return a ton of kids. Yes, we will lose 2 great players, leaving early to the draft, but we will be fine. We are starting the glory years of ISU football, lets not become Iowa fans, ******** about the results and enjoy it.

I'll agree with this one. WSU played cleaner and it gave them the win, even if they had fewer big plays and some advantageous refereeing. We played well and had some great big plays to counteract our mistakes, but we had less "slack" to use. Minshew slipping out if those 4-5 near sacks for big plays really made the difference I think.

Plenty of blame for our own mistakes, but also major credit to team for fighting back when previous years' would've quit after those turnovers/missed FGs/calls etc.
