I see Tate Samuelson is moving on from Wyoming as a grad transfer. I always thought he was solid (4x qualifier) with some good wins, just never could make the next jump.

Agree. As someone else in this thread said 'motivations change'. I know Swiderski has publicly stated he wants to go 41 next year. However, dude has wrestled all the way up to 170. I don't think cutting weight for a whole season is necessarily fun for him and we've seen he's not afraid of bigger guys. Perhaps he redshirts or goes directly to 49 if Henson comes? Of course, this is all speculation on the off chance we have a shot at Henson.
I’ve long been a fan of the ‘grow into’ your weight approach for some guys with talent. Ridge Lovett is a perfect example. It also worked really well for Gomez this year. I’d like to see Carr grow into 165 and keep getting better

I think that's part of what is working so well for Penn State...of course the elite of elite talent helps too.

If you can get a kid like Henson, who we wanted bad just a couple years ago, you take him and slot him in at 141 right away and let Swiderski take the RS and grow to 149.

Here he is beating now 2x AA Cannon in freestyle last year. He has excellent foot work and quickness. He moves and changes levels really well.

I think Swiderski has said publicly that he has no plans to redshirt but I could be remembering that wrong. And maybe KD and Metcalf could change his mind.

Teams that contacted Henson right away.

Iowa State
Nebraska
Mizzou
Arizona State
Wisconsin
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Good information. Arizona state, Wisconsin, Mizz, Ok State, and Nebraska don’t seem like great landing spots based on their current rosters/money tied up at the weight. Teams that make the most sense would be Iowa State and Oklahoma. But that’s a wild guess

I would think Oklahoma would be at quite a disadvantage recruiting wise given the whole conference situation. However, I think I remember hearing they had a nice pull in this last class.
