I have no idea what they're going to do, but to sit and wait around at the airport for probably 1.5 hours, and then another 45 minute flight, you're looking at 2.5 hours. If you have a bus you can leave whenever you want and not have to worry about the airport schedules, etc....

they don't fly commercial. charter plane from Ames. Much quicker than busing to Lawrenece.

I cannot understand why the women flew to Lawrence and took a bus to Manhattan. Manhattan is a good hour's drive west of Lawrence.

The women haven't flown to Lawrence, because they haven't played at Kansas yet. That game is on a Monday (airplane). The game in Manhattan was on a Saturday (bus).

Back when the traitors were still in the league, it was common to bus to KU, KSU, MU or NU if the game was on a weekend. No class to be back for the next morning.
