Aren't they both fat and bald?
Travis looks some like his older brother Todd, who as I recall joined the Marines out of high school. I think Travis is one of the Omaha sports anchors. I doubt that he is fat, though his brother was a bit pudgy. I knew Travis slightly when he was little. He has done well for himself, so I will give him credit for that.

But knowing him helps me keep in perspective the value of various opinions in the media, here, and elsewhere.

.............. Show some respect for the Cyclones, Travis. Or maybe I will beat you up.:twitcy::smile::yes:

Here is the money quote:
? . . . . Listen to Sports Radio in KC... you don't hear the hosts bashing KU, MU, or K-state in an effort to suck up to other parts of their audience... even the hosts that attended one of the schools. Why? Because they actually know sports, have actual radio talent, and are able to line up good guests for their shows. Only bufoons like these two are forced to resort to childish antics that appeal to the lowest common denominator (i.e., your average hawk fan.).

Disclaimer: I've never listened to Travis and Tim.

On a final note, the Omaha World-Herald has a kNU focus obviously, but it used to do a good job of covering the Big XII, including the Cyclones. The ISU-UNI game was at night, so it is hard to tell from last week's coverage, but I'm afraid that last part might be off. Of course there will probably also be a tendency there to print any news there that Nebraska=good;Texas=bad. So I doubt you will see much improvement.

But without a doubt the World-Herald should continue to cover the Cyclones if they value their western Iowa subscribers (and the many ISU alums in Omaha).

MVC! MVC! MVC! MVC! What does KXNO get out of massively over-hyping "Arch Madness"? Besides the extra listener minutes by purposely delaying ISU and Iowa talk.
