I agree with this as well, hopefully he can keep his nose clean and sign with the team next year.

I wouldn't say never, but he would have some pretty big hurdles to cross to prove he is worthy of the opportunity.

No thanks- Ames is too close to his old haunts and habits. IMO it will be easier to stay out of trouble if he moves away.

I agree he is to much of a potential risk to sign now. Let go to Iowa Western or out of state for JUCO and see if he can stay clean and recruit him next year.

Nope. It's pretty obvious that he has some serious character issues, and until he proves that he has turned it around, no thank you.

Only if he is really, really good. I haven't got the sense he is a great enough talent to be worth the risk. If he was, Iowa would probably not have cut him loose.

I'd talk to him a little. If we have an open spot come signing day I'd take the risk.
