Des Moines is hosting 1st /2nd Rounds as well. The downtown entertainment district appears to have worked to designate certain bars per team. I believe they work with alumni associations or similar at each school to help arrange. See:

Gotta believe similar is occurring in Tulsa. Anyone find a similar type of list for Tulsa?

As a musician, you were probably very familiar with Tom Zmoeck's (sp?) People's. Beer Can Alley is the former People's (the performance/stage side) and The Exchange is the former back bar for People's (can't remember if it had a separate name). Shag's is the 2nd floor of the same building on Court. I think it was called Joker's 2 yrs ago. Annie's Irish Pup is just re-named Mickey's Irish Pub (legal battle with name).
