Seriously, why was it blocked on YoutubeTV? Was this a regional thing? Or just not putting too many NBA games on without some sore of special NBA subscription?

Not sure. As I said I didn't know TV blackouts were still a thing.
I believe any game that's on the teams' regional networks is blacked out. Since the game was on NBATV instead of TNT/ESPN, it was also broadcast on the regional networks (Fanduel Sports Midwest for the Pacers).

So, it was blacked out in Iowa because Iowa is blacked out for Pacers regional network games (and Bulls and Timberwolves, but not the Bucks, for some reason).

Carlisle got a little hot in the post game when someone brought this up. He said it was bull **** - look at the other top vote getters in this poll, they are great players. Then he walked out.
It really screams of jealousy, like the dumb kid in class that picks on the smart kid who has their **** together.

How much of this overrated BS is a bunch of jealous mid to upper tier players whining about his inclusion on the Olympic team.

Carlisle said the other two players the poll said were over rated were Jimmy Butler and Giannis Antetokounmpo. It is a stupid thing to ask and it sounds like it was not really an official poll where all players voted. Tyrese has changed the direction of the entire Pacers organization and allowed guys that were at the end of the bench of other teams to flourish in Indy.

I wonder when this vote was also. When Jimmy was squabbling with the Heat, Halliburtons slow start, Milwaukee’s slow start.

Yeah, there was a very brief period, first two months of this season, where it seemed maybe he peaked.

Pretty much every other minute of his career if you redrafted his class he'd be the #2 draft pick. Every team would draft Edwards #1 and all 30 teams would easily draft Tyrese #2. After that probably Maxey, then two players currently on the Pacers and LaMelo.

Yes, his comments are at the beginning of the video in post #29.

Tyrese with another game winner.

NBA All Star, Olympic Gold Medal winner, and one of the best players in the NBA, and almost no talk about him in this state’s media.

Can you even imagine if he had played for Iowa?? Local TV stations would have a reporter on the road covering every game.

Love Tyrese's dad but he's got no business getting into it with Giannis after the series victory. Go celebrate with your son.

Based on what we know of him, it seems like a lapse in judgement and out of character. Tyrese didn’t defend it. I’m guessing it won’t be a problem. But we’ll continue to overreact.

Probably becuase he only played here for a year and a half under Steve Prohm and they didn't even win an NCAA tournament game with him.

People in Iowa just don't care as much about professional sports either.

I liked his fire. If an entire fan base chanted "overrated" everytime my son touched the ball and then he took over 4Q/OT to knock that team from the playoffs in one of the most incredible comebacks in NBA history I'd have a few words too.

I didn't hear "Mr. Nice Guy Giannis" say sheet when Picasso street clothes was jawing in Game 1, didn't hear him say anything about the fans being out of line heckling Tyrese during Games 3/4 in Milwaukee. Only after he became painfully aware that his playoff window had slammed shut did he have something to say.

He’s mad at the fans chanting overrated so he goes on the court and talks **** to Giannis? Even Tyrese immediately knew his dad was in the wrong.

overreact? It may have been a lapse of judgement and out of character but it is still a ****** look. Fans, even family of a star player have no business on the court talking **** to opposing player.

Your son is getting paid millions of dollars to play basketball, and you get to live off that. Let them chant what they want and just bask in the winning and money flowing in.
