Some of these are great.

Personal favorites include the Winged Beavers and the Sugar Beeters (that's one fierce looking mascot!).

Side note: My 5 yr. old's T-Ball coach let the team come up with their team name. They were the Candy Horses.

I also went to Des Moines Lincoln. We are the Railsplitters. Our mascot was a dude dressed up like Abe Lincoln but cartoonish.

We were driving through New Braunfells a few years ago and saw the Unicorn mascot outside the high school. I absolutely had to stop to buy a t-shirt (the unicorn on my shirt isn't as tough looking as the one on the linked site). I wear it proudly to this day.
