I don't know how people live without water softeners.Feel like I need softener and carbon filter for whole home too.
I'd get one but my wife hates them. Something about her hair and when she showers it feels like she never gets the soap off. I tend to like the soft water feel while showering.I don't know how people live without water softeners.
We have the culligan RO system in the basement and highly recomend. Plumbed to sink and fridge. Like drinking bottled water.
I have a water softener and love it. I know some people don't like the "slimey feeling" because it feels like the soap is still there.I'd get one but my wife hates them. I've become the same as you; with hard water I don't feel clean.I'd get one but my wife hates them. Something about her hair and when she showers it feels like she never gets the soap off. I tend to like the soft water feel while showering.
I think the drawback of tankless is you need power to run it, so if you're doing it under sink it could be a pain connecting to an outlet. Also if the power goes out it wouldn't run.Has anyone done a tankless under sink system? I like the fact it takes up less space. It costs more but most don't have good or very few reviews online.
My wife and I decided on a 5 stage I-spring one from Amazon that has a tank. Not many had a black faucet to match our sink faucet and it was on sale for Prime Day on Amazon.I think the drawback of tankless is you need power to run it, so if you're doing it under sink it could be a pain connecting to an outlet.
