Since the videocast of the UNI game was a failure, I have two questions:
1. If anyone purchased the broadcast has received word of a refund
2. Will anyone be offering free clips of the game that would have otherwise have been web streamed?

Per number 2, if you paid for CloneZone, you can watch the whole thing right now at cyclones.com.

Don't know about it being a failure, I watched it all start to finish live. The quality was pretty good throughout with a few times being kind of crappy but for the first time out I thought it was good.

Yeah, why was it a failure? It wasn't as good as a real television broadcast, but the quality was GREAT for over the web. I'd say better than ESPN3 or whatever its called now. I even had it on my 42 in tv and it looked really good. It only cut and/or went pixelated a few times.

Overall I was very pleased. I wish they had a few more cameras and better replays, but that wasn't expected.

OK, maybe I should revise my statement: The report on the Cyclone radio network was that the CloneZone video was "not working" and that apparently the servers that offered the video to the nation were a part of a network that carried 200+ games, all of which were not working properly. They stressed that the problem was not at the CloneZone, but at the servers elsewhere.

Obviously if CloneZone hopes to attract a larger viewership for live video, they need to have a good product. Of course, there are many parts in the chain that bring the video from the stadium to my local computer. CloneZone cannot hope to control all of them. But I am hoping that they can at least offer a good product from the stadium to my provider. The announcement on the Cyclone Radio Network made it sound like they had a total fail. Obviously this is not the case.

I got in a couple mins after the game started...Watched in HD on my TV. Not one time did it buffer, was really good so No refunds here. Sounds like the site that host the Clonezone crashed before the game. Not good timing.

Yah, I heard that as well. I heard it over my clonezone broadcast. Watched every minute.

I had some trouble at first with the broadcast, but figured out that it was my laptop trying to connect to the wireless network.

Went in my office and the game was fine. Accidently closed the video window and it took a little time to get it back up and running, but the quality was great, much better than the clone zone games last year, for sure!

I agree, saw the whole game from the band performing "CYCLONES" to the final turnover. Was nice to see it since I couldn't get tix. Only wish they would have been able to show replays.
