We aren’t wearing all black vs Iowa bc Iowa does not have any other helmet but Black..can’t have both teams wearing black helmets..

It is stupid. That is a fact. The uniform is meaningless, except for the fact that wearing all black in hot sunny weather is a terrible idea.

Wear all whites. Cooler…. and it’s our best look besides.

Wearing these on a sunny 80 degree September afternoon at 330 PM does not sound particularly wise.

Iowa fans used that "our black uniforms overheated our players" excuse when it was pushing 90 degrees in 2005 as ISU beat a ranked Iowa team 23-3 on a scorcher Saturday

For the Iowa game I would typically prefer our regular cardinal/gold colors

But this hasn't worked for the last 5 yrs.....so I'm good w/ the black uni's

Could care less what they wear, especially this year. If they want to wear black let 'em. I don't see the problem.

I'm not particularly liking it when/if they wear black in majority of home games. This year, this team, they can wear whatever they want.
