Chrome cardinal? Cool, but 5 years late. Chrome “white” or chrome “gold”? That would have been something to see.

Yes! Please do.

You're correct on what'll be least-favorite. I'm pretty sure I know my #1 choice, but I'd like to see them all to compare.

On vacation now, just checking in for a few. Remind me around January 15.

I will set it up. I think I will still give 13 options, even if C-C-C and W-W-W get repeated a lot, to account for how our sets went with the opponents' set (which I think matters, as well, better to wear cardinal against Iowa than gold in general and gold against KU, etc.) and even how the uniform matched with weather conditions (such as thinking that all-white uniforms tend to look better under lights, which I do, and some of you others might).

What is in the fine print on the back of the helmet?
It's a warning that says something to the effect of "Helmets are not guaranteed to prevent anything and serious injury or death may still result"

Google "football helmet warning label" for a higher resolution photo. It's on every helmet. At least it comes on every helmet; not sure if some people remove them.

Seriously? Does the fine print actually reduce the manufacturer's liability?

I was hoping it was Jack Trice's letter or something cool.

I’m sure it doesn’t affect liability at all. I don’t think they would be in a worse spot without it, since anyone playing football should already know the risks. But someone, somewhere, with a lawyer, had to ruin it for everyone.

Now, you should make duplicate stickers that have the Trice letter printed on them and sell them to the athletic department. $5/sticker, 120 helmets x 4 shell designs, give or take. That’s a quick buck :)

The team kinda looked like a flocked Christmas tree full red ornaments, when they did the pregame huddle and they were all jumping up and down. I did like the color.

I thought the chrome red helmets would look better than they did. The white helmets we wore at Akron would have been better IMO. Red chrome looks kinda pinkish to me, and as someone else said, a bit like Christmas tree ornaments.

But we won, so who cares, right.

I can't wait to see what CMC has in store for the uniforms next year though. Gotta think there is going to be some black, silver options in there somewhere with all the black and silver gear the coaches and players have been wearing all season this year.

Guess this got lost with all the gameday activities, but great job by the grid iron club to provide the new helmets for the bowl game. Really looked great on the field!
I think they were our best helmets this year. I really liked last years white helmets but getting rid of the sripe really hurt them. The worst ones were the Akron ones though. Don’t like Cardinal and white only. Needs the Gold. Stencil would have looked really good on the red helmet though.

I agree accept for the striping. I'd like it better if it was a traditional uniform width and not tapered. The all white helmet with the main logo is a good clean look.
