I know it may be hard to believe, but I think it has been 19 years since we lost to them, unless we did again later. It was Fred's last team that lost to them I think.

I believe it was Morgans last year or McDermotts first year, but Clark hit a very late 3 pointer to warp up a 1 point victory over EA Sports.

Iowa State lost an exhibition game against EA sports when we had Blalock and Tinsely. These games really mean nothing in terms of predicting a great season. These games are basically a glorified scrimmage for the guys and Hoiberg is going to use probably 10 guys tomorrow just to get a feel of the lineups and who can play

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure what he was talking about there. They had us pretty well handled most of the 2nd half. Maybe he meant the 1st half?

On the plus side for you guys, we're playing without our starting small forward due to injury, and our starting power forward quit the team 5 weeks before the season started. And our first-off-the-bench power forward quit this summer to pursue med school at Yale. Probably good for him, but a bummer for us.

Against Arizona we started 2 true freshmen, 2 true sophomores, and a senior who wouldn't be starting if our sophomore power forward hadn't quit a few weeks ago. In fact, we have one senior on the entire roster, and the only junior who played real minutes last year is the injured small forward. You guys will be taking on a roster made up almost entirely of true freshmen and sophomores. Some of them are very talented, but we have a really young team this year.

Holy crap, an Augustana fan. I've seen more of you guys around then TCU, Texas Tech, and Nebraksa basketball fans combined.

Yeah, the exhibition won't tell much as far as who will play, how good the team is, etc., but at least it will give a chance to see so many of the guys none of us have ever seen play, play.

UNLV got off of the losing streak with an impressive 72 - 67 win over Adams State....

Watching this unlv/asu game. This Carson kid for asu is incredible. Has 34 points with 8 min to go and he's scoring in every way possible.

Carson is playing absolutely out of his mind. Also Roscoe Smith is playing well for UNLV, but everytime he does something positive he acts like a loud cocky teenager that isn't used to experiencing success.
