Not sure, does Michigan hiring Elston away from ND make any difference on whether we lose Heacock?

Heacock likes working for coach Campbell. Sometimes you can't put a dollar amount on working for a good boss.

IMHO that would be why he stays.

College coaching has changed dramatically these last few years. Both he and Matt have made statements that hinted that they don't like the direction things are headed.

If he wants to get a big paycheck and see what it is like working at a brand name program before he retires, then I say thank you for everything you have done for us and more power to him. He has earned it.

Absolutely, but that's assuming the head coach is interested in remaining the head coach (See Alabama).

In a year where it SEEMS like Campbell has been sniffing around jobs more than normal, it is a little concerning. Not to mention that Heacock would be far and away the best choice for a new head coach is continuity is the goal (and CW seems to think that is what they would do).
People keep saying this. What evidence is there to support saying things like this though?

I think everyone can stop worrying about any NFL job openings for Campbell.... Heacock didn't turn down Notre Dame unless he knows Cambell is here for a while.

Unless Heacock plans on following Campbell to the Vikings........

I sure hope someone told CMC that Montgomery and Kene were there.
