Just looking at the offers list for 2013 and we definitely got the cream of the crop in who we offered. Derrick Walton would have been good, but Monte is definitely better. Reggie Cameron at G'town is averaging 2.3 ppg. Keeanu Post at Mizzou is only playing 9 min and averaging 2 ppg. Kyle Washington is getting 20 min at NC State, but only getting 7 ppg.

It is #Fredsprostyleoffense that makes the kids better.

It will be interesting to see who is on this list that becomes a future "done and one" for us.

Demarcus Phillips is done playing I think. He was also Mr. Basketball of Wisconsin in 2008? Didn't know that.

Are a couple of notable guys we've missed on not included. All are doing pretty well statistically.

Goes to show it's not the end of the world when we miss on a HS target. Our coaches are now so proficient at identifying transfer talent and leveraging our reputation with those transfers, that they can almost always "upgrade" over the ones we miss on.

There's really only a couple on that list that would add to our team this year. Reid Travis and Bowers (Juco who chose Auburn) are maybe the only two I can think of that would actually help our team this year.

Obviously Vaughn would have helped in recruiting cache and he's a sure fire NBA guy apparently, so there are some tangible benefits you might miss out on when you lose a recruit, but in terms of production, we didn't miss out on much that the coaches weren't able to replace.

Of course, it's really hard to quantify, how much more effective some of those players would be in our system. Not sure there are many better than Fred at maximizing strengths.

Emmanuel Malou averages 15 points, 6 rebounds and is shooting 43% from three. It is too bad he never worked out here. Who knows if he is even good but it would have been interesting. http://www.cccaasports.org/sports/mbkb/2014-15/players/mannymalouxort

Found a YouTube video from last January that says Iowa State bound lol. Everyone outside of Iowa State fans were so sure he was a Cyclone, weirdest "recruitment" of all time?

Maybe he will get a degree from Yuba and get a second chance with us. 43% 3 ball with his length could be a good fit.

Didn't Anthony Odunsi get some playing time at ISU before leaving here? Or am I thinking of someone else?

I think you are thinking of Antwon Oliver, who had to quit due to health issues iirc. Was that even Hoiberg, or one of the last McD years?
