not that this is a big deal but i thought it was interesting how they had 9 RB's that were 4* or better. I know they are usc but holy crap why would they all go there. they cant all think there gonna play.

I can't imagine ever wanting to go to USC, except if I was told that I'd immediately be able to compete for 1st or 2nd string. What's the point in going to a school to play football if you're going to spend your entire time cheering from the bench?

The guys who make up star ratings would give any RB that USC offers "4 stars" without ever having heard or seen them.

Riding the pine behind Carson Palmer and Matt Leinhart didn't stop Matt Cassell from getting drafted in the 7th round by the Pats in 2005. Not a bad deal for him at all.

But NINE 4-star backs on one team is rediculous. Heck, we don't even have 9 RB on our entire roster do we? Maybe not even 9 guys who have played RB at any point in their lives. Wow.

USC is a prestigious private university. I'm sure the quality of the academic program draws many of the students to campus...

Oh, wait. We were talking about the football players, weren't we. Well, I'm sure they learn a lot in those top-end ballroom dancing classes. :wink:
