At about the 5:40 mark you can see the "yellow card worthy foul" that Besler committed...

Nice find on the Besler yellow, CRCy17. That's freakin' ridiculous. I thought the ref did a pretty good job overall calling the match, but the linesman who made that call needs to be removed from CONCACAF duty immediately.

Thanks but I have to pass the credit to ianoconnor, he pointed it out on twitter and when I noticed he didn't immediately do it here too (for shame!) I thought I would jump in

My favorite moment is about 28 seconds in when Jones makes his first touch and then quickly makes his first turnover

Can FIFA/CONCACAF review this and reinstate Besler and/or discipline the CR player? Unbelievable that "foul" is going to keep Besler out of the Mexico game tomorrow.

I don't know if CONCACAF can do anything, but the US has no way to formally appeal or protest the card. Also, even if CONCACAF can do anything, they won't do anything.

Damn that is an ugly ankle right there. How the hell do you turn it that badly without stepping on someone else's foot, or stepping off a sidewalk or something?

Ok all, I am pumped for tonight. I am an intern with the Crew and it really has been amazing seeing everything here at Crew Stadium coming together for tonight. It should be an electric atmosphere as the city has already been buzzing for some time now. Hopefully we get to see another Dos A Cero (or more)

Hopefully something similar to the 3-0 beat down SKC gave the Crew on Saturday.

Torrado is out for Mexico due to yellow cards.

I'm really interested to see how Klinsmann plays this tonight.
