The refs tonight were very bad but ISU still should have won that game. There were plenty of calls that were extremely favorable to ISU as well, but it seemed like the calls that benefited Texas more came at just the right time for the horns. Just the way the game goes sometimes. It's really frustrating as I think different officials would have called it differently and we could have won, but the way ISU played at times they didn't deserve to win. Hopefully the team will get focused and make a run in the tournament that matters most.

Was the officiating great last night? Hardly. But if you look at the box score it's clear the blame for the loss belongs on the guys wearing cardinal and gold long before it does on the guys wearing the black and white stripes. They looked disinterested and they didn't execute. Refs can't control the desire to "want it."

Wow, I for one love bashing the refs, I think the ease at which a charge is called is ruining the college game a bit, but by no means did the refs cost us that game last night. It was a **** poor performance by the team that cost us that victory and nothing else. IF you ask me, the team came out last night looking ahead to the next game. Their focus wasn't there and I don't remember a cyclone team just flat out throwing the ball away on so many occasions. When we were up by 11 in the second half, we could have easily put the game away for good, instead we got lazy (tough to do as bad as that game was) and not only let UT back in, but let them shut the door on us. It was not the refs.

Yep it was the refs, not:

-14 turnovers
-**** poor rotation on defense again
-poor shooting
-poor shot selection

It was none of those. It was the refs.

Are you ******* kidding me? Yeah the refs were bad tonight but we didn't lose because of that and there was no big 12 conspiracy. Hell, they missed a **** ton of calls in out favor. They could have called Royce for hooking the defender almost every time he had it in the low post. This **** is pathetic and embarrassing.

We didn't lose because of the refs. We lost because we didn't execute the plays and settled for threes when we just needed two points to tie.

Nobody else to blame, but ourselves.

Move on.

I agree the refs were a little questionable but let's not kid ourselves. If we show up to play tonight it doesn't matter. We win comfortably by ten and gear up for Mizzou. Instead we go through the motions and our left wondering if we can avoid an 8 seed and if we can even win in the big dance anyway. Did I feel it was good officiating? No, but that isn't the reason we lost.

This. Officiating wasn't great. But not even close to the reason we lost. We lost because the team fell asleep when they got up by 11 early in the second half. That and we had 12 more turnovers then they did. Gotta clean that up!
