You thought that game was close? I thought Utahs offense looked like crap. If Colorado wouldn't have kept shooting themselves in the foot in the first half it would have been even worse.
I said the game was "closer" than the score indicated. Game was a 12 point game to start the 4th, then Colorado easily pulled a way.

All I was getting at is I think this game is going to be much harder than we realize. I mean we haven't played well the past 4 games IMO.
That being said, if we play decent and don't make mistakes we should be fine.

Even when healthy it's not like ISU was some dominant force.

Even the 'bad' teams are fairly evenly matched.

I expect a tough game Saturday and I would even if ISU were 10-0.

Given how much injuries have decimated our roster this season, we should all be elated that we're sitting at 8-2 right now. ANY additional win from here on out is just gravy.

Hopefully, we go into Provo with a loose attitude and we let it rip.
SLC... not Provo.

this is random and not related to Utah but anyone see this on Facebook? Looks like a troll account or more likely it's just a bot account spewing random stuff. I think everyone in the replies are also bots/boomers.

All of the recent posts are made up stories about Cincinnati and Iowa State so I can't tell if it's a scorned ISU turf grass burner account or what lol.

Yeah, the one I saw said Satterfield accused Campbell of bribing the refs

Way up there
They looked horriffic this weekend against Colorado. Therefore I fully expect they will have it all figured out and look like a completely different team this Saturday.
They were in that game until the 4th, Prime was throwing reverse passes up two scores to try to run up the score and get Hunter more stats at the end of the game. They played as good as anyone has against Colorado's passing game, I think something 90% of Shadeurs completions were bubble screens and passes behind the LOS bc Utah took away their mid/deep passing options. They dared CU to run on them and the Buffs could not, we'll have our hands full against their defense bc I don't have a ton of confidence in our run game.

Utah has actually looked good the last two weeks (against the top two teams in the league), they have just come up short, that may prove your prediction right, could finally start getting the bounces their way.

Utah must be destroyed!

I would imagine Utah will be a tough place to play, altitude, etc. We haven't exactly put things together yet, a lot of injuries as well.

Would really like to get this one for our team and program. And nothing to like about the UU and their fans.

The last football trip to the state of Utah went pretty well, so let's hope for a similar performance this time around.

Campbell teams seem to actually play better on the road.

I saw similar stories about Matt Rhule and the Cinci coach complaining about refs and getting fined, so just stupid AI bots getting hits.

That's surprising to me. I don't want to be a downer, but I didn't come away from the Cinci victory feeling like anything substantial had changed for ISU. Cinci had 13 penalties, several of them dubious, and their QB missed numerous wide-open receivers. The game was closer than the final score would indicate and did little for my confidence moving forward.

I've been a Cyclone fan since my freshman year of HS in 1978, I'm now in my 60's and I want a conference title as bad as anybody - it's there to be seized but we're simply run out of bodies. We snuck by Cinci by dropping eight and trying to keep everything in front. Our LBers are young, inexperienced and slow - I'd rather see them attacking every down than sitting back and getting washed out.
Pretty downer outlook from you here. In my opinion, the game was a tale of 2 halves. Teams looked pretty even first half. Iowa State clearly better in the 2nd. Final score was about as close as it felt it should've been. We broke their will after the fake punt 4th down conversion, which was ether late 2nd or early 3rd quarter, can't recall
