Season tickets since I was a student at ISU ('80) until 5 years ago. It finally got to the point where I absolutely hated sitting there listening to some of the dumbest comments and complaints from some of the most football ignorant fans around. It was like an in-person version of a coaches call-in show.

I wish you'd get tickets and replace the idiots that sit next to us.

Reading this thread reminds me of how much better my Saturday's are watching/listening from home than going to the games. Our annoying whiney fans ****** me off more than the team.

So you skip the game and decide to look at the thread discussing things people heard. Smart move.
Most of our "annoying" comments during the game are directed at our own team. And most of those comments are valid.
If stupid stuff annoys you then back away from the keyboard and never visit this site again. Better yet, never leave the house. The world is full of things that are worse than fanhood.

I don't understand why some people get worked up about what others say around them. Unless they are talking directly to you ignore them, or laugh at them. I sit in a section that gets a lot of the visitor fans. You should hear some of the dumb **** they say.
