Just got done watching it. I had started to like Carl last season, but I'm starting to hate him again after this episode. That scene where he is yelling at Rick while he is passed out was just bad. I'm not one who pays a lot of attention to acting. It has to be pretty bad for me to notice, and that was some of the worst I've seen IMO. Looked like a high schooler giving a dramatic performance on their speech team.

I watched it last night after giving up on the debacle in Morgantown. I thought it was an excellent episode. I think the kid playing Carl did a decent job acting and the story seemed believable for what a boy of that age would do.

(IMO) the entire point of the episode was how the people would handle the aftermath of the mid season finale. Carl behaved like most kids that age would and went off his rocker blaming everyone else for the situation, before realizing he needed his dad more than ever right now. Rick had to realize he couldn't protect Carl from the reality of what life is for them right now. I think we start to see more of a real father-son partnership develop between those 2 the rest of the way.

Michone had some other...issues....to work out on her own and she's now realizing that she needs people around her. I think the combination of her dreams/memories and seeing the woman walker, who looked somewhat similiar, just wandering along with no real purpose made her feel like that's what she would become without people around to support her and give her purpose.

I liked the episode. People can call it a Carl episode, but I think it was more a Michonne/ Carl episode. Both were contemplating life on their own and both decided they didn't want to do that. Michonne had done it before and didn't want to do it again.

Also, the scene where her husband and friend go from cheery to eventually becoming the walkers we first see her with was very cool. We finally get to learn more about who Michonne is.

Yep. I've been pretty critical of Michonne in this thread as a character and not caring for her decisions regarding the Governor and her general sullen demeanor, but I do now have more appreciation for her and where she comes from and her motivation.

I thought the actress (Dania Guirra?) did an amazing job in that episode.

Looking forward to the Daryl/Emily(?) storyline tonight. Actually, I think the actress's real name is Emily.

Has anyone else seen the commercial they've been running since the first of the month? The shot does a spiral out from two people lying in a field (on their backs, head to head and alive). It goes by quickly, but I'm almost positive that it's Daryl & Carol.
