that kevin smith show was embarrassing.

You can start any sentence with "Kevin Smith" and end it with "embarrassing" and always be right.

Example: "Kevin Smith is so fat that he had to buy two seats on an airplane, that has to be embarrassing." Or "Kevin Smith's early films are overrated and his later films are just embarrassing."

No way to be wrong.

What about, "Kevin Smith is not embarrassing.." ?

Not that I advocate the loss of a child, but I really hope that car accident causes Lori to lose the baby. That's the last thing this storyline needs is a pregnant Lori. Can you imagine her pregnant without a single Dairy Queen in operation for hundreds of miles? *shudder*

I could see that happening since Rick doesn't want to leave the farm because she is pregnant. If she isn't pregnant there is no reason to stay. Something has to happen to push them off the farm, doesn't seem like Herschel wants them gone as much as he did earlier, plus if he dies there is no one to kick them out. And my money is on Herschel dying soon, if not next week in the shootout.

I've already got a title for the episode "Zombie Abortion"

You don't think that the two philly guys being the scout party for a bunch of non-zombie predators is enough to push them out of the area?

I think that we're going to see that the infection is now airborn. You won't have to die from a bite in order to become a walker.

I think we are going to see that everyone already has it and you have to die to "activate the virus" (that is what was whispered at the CDC) and that is why rick tapped fat philly in the forehead after he shot him twice in the chest, just a thought

In which case, what about some of the bodies in the cars along the highway (like the one carl took the weapons from)?

OK, but what about the people that get bit and then turn into a zombie without dieing/die because of the bite. Why would the bite be lethal

Whatever is in the zombie's bite could be so toxic as to cause death.

We're going to find out in the next few weeks that when you die, you rise back up. What will be interesting to see is if she (the girl in bed) takes anybody out with her.

Something catastrophic is going to happen to move them off of that farm. Will Herschel's clan go with them? Will they make it out of there.

Lastly, I think Shane is on his way out. His actions are jsut too unpredictable. Even during that washing scene he was trying to convince her that he had done the right thing. There have been reports that the actor who plays Shane has been in negotiations to play the lead in a L.A. Noir type detective show on TNT. the showrunner for that is the same one that started Walking Dead.

I don't know what to think of the bodies on the interstate. They obviously died quickly(aka not starvation) but weren't killed by zombies, and it looked like the army was using napalm to fight the zombies in Atlanta.

Maybe the army was trying to gas the zombies and just killed everyone? Or some other kind of "event" that was a result of whatever started the zombie apocalypse.

Whats going on with Herschel's daughter? Any way that she could be infected, if so wouldn't the other members of the party recognize the symptoms...

Hopefully he doesn't leave the show like that, it always really hard for the writers to find a good way to get rid of a character they weren't planning on getting rid of.

Agree. That could be what was said to Rick.

The virus itself is lethal when someone is bitten but not killed. They took some care to show us how this works when Jim was bitten and the virus is attacking his system in episodes 3-5 of Season 1.
