I don't know why Rick got so wierd about the proposition of throwing it to the garbage people leader after the battle. I mean she looks like she'd be a real tryer in the sack and definitely let a guy do some wierd stuff.
She seems like a strap it on kind of girl more than a submissive freak. laying with her is probably like going to federal prison.

Without going through all 378 pages of this post (see this is why I like to start new posts on the same topic rather than resurrecting old ones) was everyone else as disappointed with the season finale as I was? I mean they build up to this clash between the saviors and Alexandrians all season, and what do we finally get? 15 minutes of action at the end of an hour and a half show. At the bare minimum, many more saviors needed to die and Negan needed to be on the run for his life. It was a very unsatisfying way to end season 7.

It was disappointing for sure. They've done a better job in the past with big confrontations I think.

Not sure if it's lazy writing or if they just want this to be a minor skirmish withbigger battles to come in the "war" ahead.

I believe this is what they want.

Welp - looks like we're stuck with the garbage pail kids. I just read that the actors who play Enid, Simon & Jadis (head garbage pailer) are going to be series regulars in season 8.

My problem with the garbage people are that they are clear cut and easy to hate. I prefer complicated villains where you can sympathize with their viewpoint in some ways.

Do you find something that helps you sympathize with Negan?
I don't sympathize with Negan but he is kind of fun.

I have yet to understand why Negan didn't just kill off Rick at the end of the season. He obviously understands that Rick and his crew know what it takes to survive but you would think he would also realize that he just isn't going to break them.

Negan has a charm and is entertaining. Take the Governor for example, even he had some intriguing traits, but ultimately the dark far outweighed the light which makes them villains. It's interesting when a show can take a villain, and eventually make the viewer favor them over time. Its makes for a more interesting show.
