Travel each week and would like to stay up to date on a few of my favorite shows while in the air. I know I can purchase on iTunes and save to iPad - which isn't a great option unless for a few one-off instances.

Looking for something a bit more sustainable. Everything I can find as of now is just a stream, not a watch offline method. Anyone doing this successfully? Thx!

I use an app called File Explorer that allows me to upload my iPad photos and videos to my networked hard drive. It works great to transfer videos back and forth between my iPad and PCs. The free version of the app allows for the transfer of QuickTime video files and the paid app ($5) allows for playback of WMV and AVI (as well as other video formats). It looks like you could be able to download your shows on your PC and upload them to your iPad using this app.

hope this helps.

dish network with the hopper. Just spent a couple weeks traveling. You can stream your shows from your hopper live or dvr. Before the trip you just need your iPad on your home network and you can send anything you want to it. I got caught up on modern family and I put a movie on it. Have to watch the space though
