Mitchell was an interesting recruit to me. I look at this staff as a staff that wants a thrower.....

Can't wait to see what Re-al can be. If he's an accurate passer, along with his ability to run from the pocket, we'll have the ultimate college QB threat.

What position groups are there to be worried about? It's less of a position group thing and more of a position issue.

MLB - Tymar Sutton / O'Rien Vance / Jake Hummel - One soph, 2 frosh

Star - Jatairas Grant / O.J. Tucker - One soph, one frosh

Safety shouldn't be on this list. I know people will ask about it, but I feel Wilkerson was solid but replaceable. And while KCM was good in run support, he struggled in the passing game, as noted by Jay Jordan. We have capable bodies there.

LG/RT - I think the offensive line will be much different by the start of the season vs what we think now. But I'm very excited about Bolton/Hudson. Need to see something from Meeker to really put the offensive line in a good place.
I'd be willing to bet that we will see Ruth starting at either CB or STAR. If he starts at CB, that would likely move Payne to STAR. If Payne starts at CB, we'd see Ruth at STAR.

He will be too good to leave off of the field.

Is Mike Warren just going to disappear forever? With how loaded we are at RB, I just don't see him getting carries. Does he have size/skills to be used elsewhere?

That's what I'm afraid will happen (transfer.) Could he play in the slot or anything?
someone else brought that up, replacing the Ryen role, I personally don't think he has the ability to catch that ball that we would need, I also think there is a lot of young talent in the RS class and incoming Freshman that offer way more upside.... (Milton, Johnson, Schleker)

Any word on Josh Johnson's development either? Realize we are probably stacked at WR next year but was excited about him when he signed.

I think Ruth seems like a good fit in the STAR role, and Payne was really solid at CB. I think there is a lot riding on Eisworth as well. Granted I thought the same with Tonga and Leo heading into this year.

I think there’s more riding on Peavy returning. If we have Peavy, Ruth, and Payne starting, Lewis, White, or Jones will be just fine imo. Of course, if Eisworth shows up and is a great player, even better.

Don't forget Bowen, I see great things from him next year....

Tough one for Mike. He has a defined skillset that needs a good Oline. He had one for a year and it just hasn't been there. I can't really see a position change from him.

Based on interviews thus far and hopefully after Saturday's final scrimmage, we may need to re-evaluate this Depth Chart Projection. Tarique Milton, Colin Newell just a couple of the names that might belong on the two-deep. Are Hudson and Bolton still being hyped as potential players for the O-line spots? I haven't noticed anything said about them this Spring. I don't think Oge can be included yet when they are saying he is still overcoming injury.

Good problem to have, so many viable options at RB and at WR!
