Macy Comito's Carlisle team lost to DC-G 31-30 in the regional final last night. Sounds like it had a wild ending -- Comito missed a three at the end of the game when they were down 31-28, but the DC-G team stormed the court with time still left on the clock. Comito made two technical free throws; however, Carlisle was unable to make the potential game-winning shot after that.

The Norwalk girls basketball team will head to State for the first time since 2007 after picking up an 85-56 win over Pella Tuesday in Norwalk.

Iowa Girls State Basketball Tournament - Jenica Lewis and #1 seeded Johnston take on the 8th seeded Iowa City Liberty Lightning at 10 am on Monday March 3rd.
Lewis would be a big get, but it’s hard to see it happening with the competition we are facing. She would definitely fill a major piece of the success puzzle.

Another new name/offer. Sangha is a star volleyball player as well, and there are schools who have given her an offer to play both sports in college.
Do schools like Creighton get the same $20.5 mill cap w/o fielding a football team?
yes. They also don't have the tv money that comes from a football program but if they can get the 20.5 million in other ways they can spend it however they want.

Didn't notice this before, so maybe an update, but Macy Comito is now an ESPN Top 100.
Good catch. I've updated the rankings for ESPN (PN appears to be unchanged), and a few of the unranked recruits are now ranked in addition to Comito. Part of the reason is the list was only 60 when I last checked.
I only noticed because I looked up Miles to see who Huskers were getting and there was our gal on the list.
