***WBB: 2028 Recruiting Thread***

Update on Choe Johnson moving up in ESPN recruit ranks and could end up as #1 of 2028. Sigh, probably little chance of here being a Cyclone or a Gopher.

This summer, the 6-foot Duluth Marshall star was ranked by ESPN as the top point guard and third-best player in the country, the highest rating for a Minnesota native since former Hopkins, Connecticut and now WNBA guard Paige Bueckers was No. 1 in 2020. - MN Str Tribune
Tidbit from the article, she has the same personal trainer as Gianna Kneepkens and they train together in the off season.

Three Minnesota gals in ESPN Terrific 25 for 2028.
  • Chloe Johnson, 6’0 PG, Duluth Marshall - ESPN #3
  • Ari Peterson, 6’1 W, Minnetonka - ESPN #20
  • Sahara Wilson, 6’2 P, Lakeville North - ESPN #23

ISU hosted several underclassmen today. Link didn't work so here's a screenshot

The ones with lanyards are recruits, so there appear to be seven of them. I'm working on IDing them and will update this post as I do.

Left to right:
1. Audrie Meyerkorth (2028)
2. Kenzie Hare (ISU)
3. Evangelia Paulk (ISU)
4. TBD recruit
5. Jazlyn Rhodes (2027)
6. Brinley Altenburg (2027)
7. TBD recruit
8. Farrah Thomas (2029)
9. Reese Beaty (ISU)
10. Freya Jensen (ISU)
11. TBD recruit

I didn't make much progress on figuring out the recruits. I originally thought the 7th person was Lana Mannetter (2028), but it now seems it probably isn't.
