***WBB: 2029 Recruiting Thread***

Sounds like a perfect recruiting job for another point guard named Emily. I suspect Jensen is already telling her she can be the next Clark if she picks Iowa

I’d do the same, but this far out she’ll have plenty of options. Without reading too much into her early career, Tanny’s proximity to IC, her mother being a former WBB Hawkeye, and CC’s legend all make it easy to imagine her ending up in Coal and Pyrite.

Despite her connection to AIA in Ames—with its top‑tier youth facilities and alumni like Keith “Lefty” Moore on staff—Iowa State’s proximity to AIA doesn’t seem like a major pull. If Bill offers its necessary only because she’s an Iowa basketball phenom, and there’s always a chance, however slim, given how things stand today.

I totally didn't realize she was the daughter of Amy (Herrig) Tanny. Not just a former Iowa WBB player, but a former Iowa WBB legend. She'll be inducted into the Iowa Athletics HOF in September.

Her only offers so far seem to be Marquette and South Dakota. Those are a couple decent offers, and as a 2029 she has plenty of time to pick up more. But it doesn't appear Iowa or ISU has offered yet.

Have we ever had a player from Dubuque? We had one play MBB but it was decades ago, John Kunnert on a Johnny Orr team.
