I suspect it will be that way every other year. When they travel to LA, they’ll play both in one trip which means they get both at home the other year. How did Iowa get away playing both USC AND UCLA at home and neither on the road?

And EARLY games. Both of them. How did Iowa get away playing both USC AND UCLA at home and neither on the road?
On top of that I truly don’t think USC and UCLA are very good. Kudos to Iowa though for competing in these types of games. How did Iowa get away playing both USC AND UCLA at home and neither on the road?
Agree - keep watching both of them and something seems off. I think the title goes to an ACC or SEC team.On top of that I truly don’t think USC and UCLA are very good. Kudos to Iowa though for competing in these types of games.
Agree. ND/SC/UCONN/LSU/Texas and even NC State are just on another level. IAgree - keep watching both of them and something seems off. I think the title goes to an ACC or SEC team.

UCLA is 8-1 against top 25 teams, with 7 of the wins by double digits. One of the double digit wins was over South Carolina. They also have possibly the biggest matchup problem in WBB in Betts.Agree. ND/SC/UCONN/LSU/Texas and even NC State are just on another level. I

Refs just awful in the Iowa-UCLA game. Not even necessarily pro one side or another (though, grudgingly, will say Iowa is being slightly worked by the refs here), just plain bad. Women's basketball refs and all that.
I'd nudge back on the last part. Lucy and Hannah are a good bit beyond "average" in terms of pure talent IMO, and Taylor is one of the best 3pt shooters in the B1G.Unreal iowa can beat and top 5 team and give #1 all they can handle and we can't even beat competitive against those teams.
And this Iowa team is average talent wise.
All depends on if the hairball three hit in or out of bounds, if it hit out of bounds on the baseline then about 1.3 seconds left, if it hit in bounds then bounced out they were lucky to get the .3 on the clock. Clock does not stop till it touches out of bounds. I think the right call.Should of easily been 1.4 to 1 second on clock

But I agree with the spirit of your point, this Iowa team can give the best in the country fits but then look very ordinary against other ordinary teams. I do like the fact that JJ has them playing better defensively than we've been the past several years.
Not sure what more UCLA needs to do to prove themselves worthy. They have several double-digit wins over top-25 teams in conference and OOC.I also think UCLA is not one of the top 7 teams, USC either.
UCLA is a better version of Iowa State. Play thru Betts, she scores or dishes out for deep balls. Two things, Betts is better than Audi and her teammates make more shots.
Iowa can look real good at times. I would like to see what happens when they play the better teams from the SEC, ACC or UCONN.
Well we’re more interested in tearing down Iowa than having an honest discussion about our program.Unreal iowa can beat and top 5 team and give #1 all they can handle and we can't even beat competitive against those teams.
